ARMI secures grant to help biofabrication research in Manchester

MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute, known as ARMI, will receive a $44 million grant to advance biofabrication science in Manchester.

U.S. Deputy Commerce Secretary Don Graves and U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen were at the Regen Valley Tech Hub in Manchester on Tuesday for the announcement.

Officials discussed the advances in chronic disease and organ failure research, which was made possible by the funding.

“This is about the good jobs that are going to be created here in New Hampshire because of the innovation that’s going on, a real game changer in terms of how we provide healthcare to people in so many ways,” said Graves.

“It’s putting this region on the map not just across the United States, but globally in driving this life-altering technology.”

Regen Valley Tech Hub was selected as one of 31 designated tech hubs across the country.
