Senator Shaheen Floor Statement on the Importance of Health Care Reform for Women, October 8, 2009

Senator Shaheen called for an end to the discrimination of women by insurance companies, calling it unacceptable that women often pay more to get less. Shaheen believes that health care reform should level the playing field for women so that they have access to the quality affordable care they need.
