SHAHEEN AND ISAKSON ISSUE BIPARTISAN CALL TO REFORM BROKEN BUDGET PROCESS

Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Johnny Isakson (R-GA) took to CNBC's Squawk Box earlier this month during the government shutdown to issue a bipartisan call to reform our broken budget process which will help avoid future manufactured crises. Shaheen and Isakson have introduced the bipartisan Biennial Budgeting and Appropriations Act which would convert the annual spending process to a two-year budget cycle in the same way New Hampshire budgets at the state level. http://1.usa.gov/YukEnL
