SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON EQUAL PAY VOTE

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement after equal pay legislation advanced in the Senate 73-25.

“Pay discrimination is not fair, it’s not right, and it has to end. It hurts our economy and families in New Hampshire and all across the country when women, who are a growing part of the workforce, make less than their male counterparts for equal work.”
