“The signing of this bill is the culmination of years of hard work, resulting in a historic expansion of health care access for our veterans so that the VA can ultimately better serve those who have sacrificed so much our country. For too long, too many New Hampshire veterans have had to endure long drives to seek care. But with this bipartisan bill becoming law, that will soon come to an end. I am proud to have worked on this effort that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of New Hampshire veterans but also implement much needed reforms across the VA that will boost accountability and strengthen the agency’s management structure as a whole.”
