FRIDAY IN CONCORD: SHAHEEN TO JOIN CAPITAL REGION FOOD PROGRAM VOLUNTEERS, PACK HOLIDAY FOOD BASKETS

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will join Capital Region Food Program volunteers and help pack holiday food baskets at the New Hampshire National Guard Armory in Concord at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, December 19. Shaheen will highlight the importance of the annual Holiday Food Basket Project which has been helping struggling families in the region since 1974. In 2013, 2,500 area families benefited from the program.
