FRIDAY IN MANCHESTER: SHAHEEN TO HOST ROUNDTABLE ON COLLEGE AFFORDABILITY
Later, Shaheen will participate in medals ceremony for two New Hampshire veterans
U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will host a roundtable on college affordability at Dyn in Manchester tomorrow, May 23, at 10:00 a.m. The group of education and business leaders will discuss the importance of making higher education affordable for students in New Hampshire and across the country as well as Dyn’s partnership with Southern New Hampshire University. Shaheen has worked throughout her career to promote college affordability and in the Senate has supported numerous measures to help students pay for college and manage student loan debt.
Later, Shaheen will participate in a medals ceremony honoring two New Hampshire veterans, Mr. Maurice Lavigne and Mr. Raymond Lakeman, in Manchester at 1:45 p.m. Lavigne and Lakeman will be honored for their service during World War II and the Korean War.
