U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will host U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA) to discuss their efforts to bridge the partisan gap in Washington and reform the federal budgeting process at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, at UNH’s Warren B. Rudman Center in Concord. Senators Shaheen and Isakson have introduced a plan to reform the broken federal budget process by moving it to a biennial process which will help avoid manufactured budget crises in the future.
Earlier, Senator Shaheen will honor New Hampshire veterans at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at 11:00 a.m. Shaheen will be joined by other New Hampshire officials and will deliver brief remarks at the annual Veterans Day observance.
