Medal recipients recognized for New Hampshire Civil Air Patrol service during World War II
U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will join New Hampshire elected officials and New Hampshire military officials to honor members of the New Hampshire Wing of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) who served during World War II on Saturday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. in Londonderry. The ceremony will be held at the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire and will honor World War II New Hampshire CAP members with the Congressional Gold Medal, the nation’s highest civilian honor. Shaheen will offer remarks celebrating the service and dedication of the New Hampshire CAP members.
