SHAHEEN DEDICATES VETERANS ‘HONOR WALL’ AT BEDFORD HILLS CENTER

(Bedford, NH) –U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) today joined a dedication ceremony for a new “Honor Wall” recognizing the military veteran residents and staff at the Bedford Hills Center in Bedford. The Bedford Hills Center is a Genesis HealthCare skilled nursing center providing high-quality care for New Hampshire veterans and is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s  (NHPCO) and Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) We Honor Veterans (WHV) program.

“We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the men and women who have served our country in uniform, and the Bedford Hills Center delivers remarkable care to our veterans day in and day out,” Senator Shaheen said. “The new ‘Honor Wall’ is a beautiful way to celebrate the veterans of the Bedford Hills Center and I was humbled to participate in the dedication recognizing our veterans.”

The Honor Wall unveiled today features photographs of the residents and members of the Bedford Hills Center staff who have served in the Armed Forces.
