Shaheen, Hassan Announce Virtual New Hampshire Military Service Academy Day
**Staff Representatives Will be Available Online on Tuesday, May 19th**
(Washington, DC) - U.S. Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Maggie Hassan (D-NH) invite New Hampshire students interested in attending any of the country’s military service academies to attend a virtual New Hampshire Military Service Academy Day on Tuesday, May 19th from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
The online event will feature staff representatives for Senators Shaheen and Hassan and Representatives Annie Kuster (NH-02) and Chris Pappas (NH-01), who will be available to answer questions about obtaining service academy nominations while practicing social distancing. In addition, past and current service academy cadets will be available to provide information and answer questions from interested students.
To be considered for appointment to a service academy, applicants must be nominated by a Member of Congress or another authorized nominating source.
