Shaheen Holds COVID-19 Video Conference Roundtable with Granite State Firefighters and EMTs

(Washington, DC) – Today, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) held a video conference roundtable with Granite State firefighters and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) who are working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the roundtable, Shaheen heard about their experiences serving the public during the public health emergency. Shaheen also provided an update on her efforts in Washington to support their work and service in upcoming COVID-19 relief legislation. The virtual roundtable continues Shaheen’s telework efforts to hear directly from leaders all across the state who are responding to this public health emergency, including school administrators and teachers, local officials, small business owners, health care providers and non-profit service organizations and charities.
