Shaheen Statement Following Vote to Approve President Trump's Nominee to Serve as CIA Director

(Washington, DC)— This evening, Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement after voting to confirm Congressman Mike Pompeo to serve as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

"In his hearing, Congressman Pompeo showed that he understands that his new role will be to collect and present objective analysis to the President and to Congress,” said Shaheen.
