SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON CONFIRMATION OF GINA MCCARTHY TO LEAD EPA

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement today on the Senate confirmation of Gina McCarthy to lead the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA):

"Ms. McCarthy carries unique experience to head the EPA and she is well-suited to carry out the job.
