SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON FAIRPOINT COMMUNICATIONS

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement on the strike by FairPoint Communications workers:  

"The work of FairPoint Communications employees is vital to New Hampshire's economy, public safety and consumers. I encourage both parties to resume good-faith negotiations and reach an agreement that protects good-paying jobs and consumers in New Hampshire.”
