SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON NATIONAL SMALL BUSINESS WEEK

(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), a member of the Senate Small Business Committee, released the following statement today to mark the beginning of National Small Business Week:

“National Small Business Week is a great opportunity to renew our commitment to supporting the millions of small businesses across the country. These businesses are not only part of the fabric of our country, but they are a critical driver of the American economy, especially in New Hampshire where small businesses make up 95 percent of our state’s employers and create two out of three every new jobs. I’ll continue supporting small businesses in the Senate and look forward to finding ways to help small businesses grow and maintain their national role as drivers of new ideas and innovation."
