Shaheen Statement On Passing of Former NH Department of Revenue Administration Commissioner Stan Arnold

(Washington, DC)—U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) issued the following statement on the passing of former New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration (DRA) Commissioner Stan Arnold:

“I’m very sorry to hear of the passing of Stan Arnold and offer my sincere condolences to Stan’s family and friends,” said Shaheen. “Stan served our nation for more than two decades in the U.S. Army, and later served Granite Staters in state government with the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Administration. Stan was the Commissioner of the DRA throughout my tenure as Governor, and I was very fortunate to get to know him both personally and professionally. I was always able to rely on Stan’s knowledge and his good counsel on financial issues facing New Hampshire, particularly his invaluable guidance when addressing school funding. Stan’s lifelong service to our nation and state will not be forgotten.”
