SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON PURCHASE OF GORHAM MILL BY PATRIARCH PARTNERS

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement today regarding the purchase of the Gorham Paper Mill by Patriarch Partners.

“I am pleased that we are one critical step closer to getting the Gorham Paper Mill operational again and getting residents of the North Country back to work with today’s purchase of the Gorham Mill by Patriarch Partners.  It is crucial that we get North Country residents back to work, and I will continue to do all I can to get the mill running again, as well as advance other economic development initiatives in the North Country.”
