SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON TENTATIVE FAIRPOINT COMMUNICATIONS LABOR AGREEMENT

(MANCHESTER, NH­) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement in response to the tentative agreement between FairPoint Communications and its workers:

“FairPoint Communications employees support vital services for New Hampshire’s public safety, consumers and our state’s economy. The tentative agreement announced this afternoon that will allow FairPoint’s dedicated employees to return to work in the near future is great news.”
