Shaheen Statement on Terror Attacks in Paris

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), the lead Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on European Affairs, issued the following statement tonight on the terrorist attacks in Paris, France:

“The people of France, and particularly the city of Paris, are in my thoughts and prayers tonight,” said Shaheen. “Much is still unknown about these attacks, but one thing is clear: the brutality of these terrorists will only strengthen our shared resolve to defeat violent extremism.  Tonight, the United States stands in solidarity with the French people, ready to assist in the aftermath of this tragedy.”
