SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON TERRORIST ATTACK IN FRANCE

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, released the following statement condemning the terrorist attack in Paris, France today that has reportedly killed at least 12 people:

“I am deeply saddened and outraged by the horrific shooting today in Paris, and I strongly condemn this cowardly act of terrorism. France is not alone in mourning the lives lost in this attack, and my thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their loved ones and the French people. As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, I remain committed to standing united with our allies and the rest of the civilized world against terrorism in all its forms.”
