SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON THE NOMINATION OF CLYDE TERRY TO NATIONAL COUNCIL ON DISABILITY
(Washington, D.C.) - U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen today released the following statement in reaction to the nomination of Concord resident Clyde Terry to serve on the National Council on Disability. Shaheen recommended Terry for a position on the National Council on Disability.
"I am delighted that Clyde Terry has been nominated for a position on the National Council on Disability, and I congratulate him on this great honor. Clyde has devoted his entire career to improving the lives of disabled, aged and impoverished Americans. First, as Executive Director of the New Hampshire Developmental Disabilities Council and, most recently, as CEO of Granite State Independent Living, Clyde has made a real difference in the lives of countless New Hampshire families. I have no doubt he will continue his strong track record of success in this new endeavor."
