Shaheen Statement on the Passing of Linda Foster

(Washington, DC)– Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) gave the following statement on the passing of former Deputy Speaker of the New Hampshire House of Representatives Linda Foster:

“Linda was a dedicated public servant who found so many ways to give back to her community and New Hampshire. Having worked with her in the state legislature and as governor, I always admired her leadership and appreciated her friendship. Linda was admired and respected by legislators on both sides of the aisle, and will long be remembered for the kindness and respect she showed others. My thoughts are with Linda’s husband Bernard and her children and grandchildren.”
