SHAHEEN STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF ROBERT FOSTER

(Washington, D.C.) - U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen today released the following statement on the passing of Robert Foster, publisher of Foster's Daily Democrat:

"Bob Foster's commitment to improving his community and quality journalism has enriched everyone that he came in contact with. Through his newspapers, Bob elevated the discourse in our state and strengthened our democracy. Dover will truly miss him.  My thoughts and prayers are with the Foster family."
