Shaheen Statement on the Shooting of Two Manchester Police Officers

(Manchester, NH) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement on the shooting of two Manchester Police Officers early this morning:

“Every time our brave men and women in uniform step into the line of duty they are putting themselves in harm’s way to protect us and our communities. Today is a sobering reminder of the risks we ask our police officers to take every day. My thoughts are with the two Manchester Police Officers who were shot this morning and their families. I wish them a quick and full recovery and for the safety of the Manchester Police Department and community as the suspect in these shootings is pursued.”
