Shaheen discusses ArgenTech Solutions’ experience with the PPP & hears more about their important work providing technical support for unmanned aerial systems, including those used by the U.S. military.

(Manchester, NH) – Today, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), a senior member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and the Senate Armed Services Committee, visited ArgenTech Solutions in Concord, a veteran-owned small business that provides technical support for unmanned aerial systems around the world, including those used by the U.S. military. During her visit, Shaheen met with ArgenTech Solution’s leadership team and discussed the firm’s experience with the Paycheck Protection Program and the impact of the public health and economic crisis on its operations. Shaheen also provided a legislative update on her continuing efforts to secure further relief for Granite State small businesses. She is calling for the passage of the Prioritized Paycheck Protection Program (P4) Act, legislation she introduced that would allow small businesses to access a second round of PPP loans.

The PPP has been a lifeline for small businesses in New Hampshire, with over $2.5 billion in assistance disbursed to more than 24,000 businesses across the state.

“Argentech Solutions plays an important role in supporting our national security but, like so many New Hampshire businesses, has had to grapple with the economic impact of COVID-19 on their operations. As I heard today and have heard repeatedly during my extensive conversations with small business owners throughout the state, the PPP has been a lifeline but more needs to be done.” said Shaheen. “I’m determined to secure additional relief for those hardest hit small businesses who are in danger of closing their doors, by ensuring Congress includes my legislation that would fund a second round of the PPP in any upcoming COVID-19 relief package.”
