SHAHEEN VISITS ‘BIG GREEN BUS’ TO TALK TO DARTMOUTH STUDENTS ABOUT ENERGY EFFICIENCY
(Washington, DC) – Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) today stopped by the Big Green Bus, a project run by 13 Dartmouth College students who will travel more than 12,000 miles in a bus powered by waste vegetable oil. Their goal is to educate the country about sustainability. Shaheen spoke to the students about their trip and also told them about her bipartisan legislation, which would create jobs by enacting a national energy efficiency strategy.
