TOMORROW IN DOVER: SHAHEEN TO HOST ROUNDTABLE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL STAKEHOLDERS ON IMPORTANCE OF LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will lead a roundtable discussion with representatives from New Hampshire’s conservation, outdoor industry and timber sectors tomorrow in Dover at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the importance of the Land and Water Conservation Fund to New Hampshire’s economy and environment. Shaheen recently led a bipartisan coalition of Senators in calling for “strong investment” in land conservation programs to help protect continued access to public lands for hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities, which supports millions of jobs in New Hampshire and across the country. The roundtable will be held at NEMO Equipment, which produces high-level outdoor equipment and has experienced significant growth since its founding in 2002.
