U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) will join the U.S. Commercial Service in Salem, Tuesday August 5, at 12:30 p.m. to recognize Corfin Industries and WS Badger for their excellence in exporting. Shaheen has made expanding small business export opportunities one of her top priorities in Washington in order to bolster job creation and economic growth.
Later, Shaheen will visit Mercury Systems in Hudson at 1:45 p.m. to highlight the importance of high-tech manufacturing to jobs and the economy in New Hampshire. Mercury Systems is a high tech manufacturer of commercially developed, open sensor and big data processing systems for defense and related applications.
