VIDEO RELEASE: Shaheen Highlights the Best of the Granite State at Experience New Hampshire

(Washington, DC) – Today, U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), released a video highlighting the ninth annual Experience New Hampshire reception, where over 40 New Hampshire businesses, restaurants, and vendors showcased their products and services, including New Hampshire beer, wines and specialty foods, for policymakers and government officials in Washington. The video features Senators Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01), Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02), Billy Shaheen, the New Hampshire State Society, and over 40 New Hampshire restaurants and local businesses.

Earlier in the day, Shaheen hosted her annual New Hampshire Business Day luncheon with Granite State small business leaders, giving them an opportunity to hear directly from government leaders and key congressional officials about federal programs and agencies that support and offer research and technical assistance to businesses. Speakers at the luncheon included Senator Hassan, Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO), Face the Nation host Margaret Brennan, Federal Communications Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel, EU Ambassador to the US David O’Sullivan, and Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
More than 350 guests enjoyed gourmet foods and drinks from restaurants, vineyards, breweries and culinary training programs from across the state, while also learning more about cultural and tourism opportunities in New Hampshire. The event, which took place in the Kennedy Caucus Room in the Russell Senate Office Building, drew attendees including U.S. Senators Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Kamala Harris (D-CA), Joe Donnelly (D-IN), Jeff Merkley (D-WA), Mazie Hirono (D-HI), U.S. Senators Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Kamala Harris (D-CA), Joe Donnelly (D-IN), Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01) and Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02), and other federal government officials.
