Shaheen Statement Mourning the Passing of Senator Feinstein

(Washington, DC) – U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) released the following statement after U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein passed away earlier today: 

“Dianne Feinstein was a titan of the Senate, and her legacy as a trailblazer for women everywhere and a defender of democracy will go down in history. This is an enormous loss for our nation and for the Senate, but her mark on our country will never be forgotten for the work she did throughout her long career of public service to advance women’s rights, pass the assault weapons ban, support children and families and so much more. I will miss her dearly. Billy and I send our deepest condolences to her family and all who loved her.”
